5014: Preparation for research in computer
science. Technical communication skills. Design and evaluation of experiments.
The research process.
This course prepares you to do research in computer science. It will improve
your written and oral technical communication skills. A variety of designs for
computational experiments and statistics for evaluating experiments are
discussed. The definition of experimental computer science is discussed.
