WebDG This NSF-sponsored project is funded from a coordinated proposal from Virginia Tech (E-Commerce & E-Government Research Lab) and Purdue University (Indiana Center for Database Systems). The project researchers teamed up with state and federal agencies namely, the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) and the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). For more details about the project, a presentation can be found here. WebFindit WebFINDIT is a system for describing, locating and accessing data in Internet-accessible databases. The goal of this project is to build a WWW-centric infrastructure to elicit interoperation of Web and Internet accessible databases. This infrastructure present users with one single database whose components span every database site that is connected to the WWW. We call this Web-based logical database the World Wide Database (WWD). More details about the project may be found here.
